Day 3

Breakfast at the Hotel
This morning, take a walking tour of Marrakesh. Begin at the iconic Koutoubia, a 12th century mosque, known for its stunning minaret that towers over the city's skyline. Next, stop in the lively Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a visit at the opulent Dar el Bacha Palace & Museum, built by Pasha Thami el Glaoui in the early 1900's. View exhibits on Moroccan culture and admire the zellige mosaic tilework of the palace. Afterward, walk through the colorful souks, where artisans sell everything from handwoven textiles to jewelry to fragrant spices, and pottery. Approximately 2 to 3 hours.

Day 4
|
Breakfast at the Hotel
Head to the Medina to attend a half day cooking class. Learn from one of the best "Dada chefs" in town how to successfully prepare traditional Moroccan tajine and salads, then savor your delicious meal.
Sit back and relax as you ride a horse-drawn carriage through the lively streets of Marrakesh.
Approximate tour duration is 4.5 hours.
In the afternoon, visit Majorelle Garden, a botanical marvel set in the heart of Marrakesh. It features a diverse collection of over 300 plant species from five continents. Afterward, walk through the colorful souks brimming with a fabulous array of goods from colorful textiles to jewelry handcrafted leather and traditional Moroccan pottery. End the afternoon with a stroll through the medina or perhaps visit a carpet shop. Watch artisans perform their craft before arriving at Djemaa el Fna Square, a dazzling display of acrobats, story tellers, and snake charmers

Day 5
|
Breakfast at the Hotel if not taking the balloon ride.
Arise before dawn, and take off in a hot air balloon. Gliding through the air, enjoy a unique perspective of the beautiful surroundings of Marrakech. A hot-air balloon flight is unique from all other methods of flying in that there is no sensation of motion, creating an experience of tranquility unlike any other. Take in awe inspiring views of the foothills of Morocco's Atlas Mountains before landing. Afterward, partake in a traditional Moroccan breakfast.
Note, departure time for this excursion is very early in the morning, 5 AM or earlier. Agility is required to embark and disembark the balloon basket. The take-off time and the duration of the flight and tour may vary due to weather conditions. Balloon rides vary but are usually an hour.
This is not an exclusive tour and therefore you may be with passengers from other tour companies. Due to inclement weather conditions, this tour may be canceled and refunded.

Depart Marrakesh and travel to the coastal city of Essaouira, also known as Mogador. Along the way, stop at the Cooperative to view traditional methods of extracting Argan Oil. Continue on to Essaouira, the modern city constructed in the late 18th century by Mohammed III.

This afternoon, enjoy Gnawa Music & Dance Performance with Cocktail & Henna. Listen to the rhythmic sounds of Gnawa music played on ancient instruments like the guembri, and watch dancers adorned in colorful robes move energetically to the beat. While you are entertained by the performance, you can sip on a cocktail. Meanwhile, skilled henna artists apply intricate designs on your hand using natural henna paste
