Explore Mdina, the ancient capital of Malta, located in the central part of the island. This walled city dates back more than 4,000 years, and has witnessed Malta's major historic events, having a strategic position on one of the area's highest plateaus. During your walk in the "Silent City," view the Mdina Cathedral and the imposing bastions that allow you to admire panoramic views of most of the island. Leaving Mdina through Greek's Gate, head to Rabat, to explore Christian catacombs, which feature an extensive underground system of tombs that date back to the third century B.C. Next, proceed to the cliffs at Dingli. After lunch, visit the San Anton Botanical Gardens and continue to the Ta' Qali Crafts Center. Conclude the tour with Mosta Rotunda, and admire its majestic dome, one of Europe's largest.

Begin the day early and travel to Malta's sister island of Gozo, an island where time stands still and traditions and customs form the daily life of the islanders Following a short twenty-minute ferry crossing, arrive in Mgarr harbor. Your guide will lead you first to the megalithic temples of Ggantija, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This monumental archaeological site, is considered to be one of the oldest freestanding monuments in the world, predating Stonehenge and the Pyramids of Egypt. Continue to the medieval citadel in Victoria, and the fjord-like Xlendi Bay. Next, head to Dwejra, a spectacular natural monument, located on the western shore of the island. Later, take the ferry back to Malta and return to your hotel

8:30 AM Half Day Tour of Marsaxlokk Market & Blue Grotto. Approximate tour duration is 5.5 hours.

The charming fishing village of Marsaxlokk with its colorful luzzus (traditional fishing boats) and unique character make the ideal setting for the local market. This is the perfect place to spend a Sunday morning, where you mingle with the locals, as you browse through the various stalls. The tour continues with a visit to the Blue Grotto (weather permitting - boat trip for an extra fee). Admire the whole expanse of the blue Mediterranean and the islet of Filfla. Later, explore one of Malta's unspoiled villages. View the main square, the hub of the village with its parish church, and stroll through the maze of winding narrow streets before heading back

Discover Valletta, the beautiful walled capital of Malta with a guided tour. Admire the charm and beauty of the city which was built by the Knights of St. John in the 16th century. Marvel at the breathtaking views of the Grand Harbor from the Upper Barrakka Gardens. Next, visit the majestic St. John's Co-Cathedral, including the oratory which houses Caravaggio's masterpiece, "The Beheading of St. John the Baptist. " The Co-Cathedral boasts one of the most beautiful marble inlaid floors in the world. Strolling down Republic Street, pass by the Grand Masters' Palace and the recently restored St. George's Square before watching the Malta Experience, an audio-visual show where Malta's history throughout the centuries is brought to life
